Anyone who knew Naomi as a young dog knows how we struggled and struggled with her chewing and running away. When we got her, we thought it would be amazing if we didnt kill her! Now the dog is getting fat and lazy. The only thing that provides exersize is playing with her ball. The kids and Naomi have created this game where Naomi brings the ball and drops it on the tramp. The kids avoid jumping on the ball like it is poison until it bounces off of the tramp. Naomi then goes and gets the ball and the game starts all over. Naomi could play this game for hours, but the kids usually get sick of the game and have learned to hide Naomis balls everywhere to make her stop. |

We try to take her on walks, but her ball addiction has followed her out away from home. She can nose out a ball in someones front yard with very little effort. Once when on a walk, she found a tennis ball in a bush. If kids are playing ball in the street Naomi tries to join in the fun and we believe her feelings are hurt when she is asked to get out of the game. Her favorite ball game still is playing ball with other dogs. If they are little dogs that think they can play ball Naomi can beat up on them and easily get the ball but if it is a big dog, she enjoys the challenge of |

trying to win. Weve seen a friends dog and Naomi play catch where the friends dog presses down with her foot on the ball and then removes her pa to see the ball fly into the sky for Naomi to catch. It is wonderful our dog has such great friends.
The nice thing now, is that if there are no balls in sight, Naomi will gladly find a comfortable spot to lie down and go to sleep for hours and hours! For a dog this is the GOOD LIFE!
